Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our core banking technology team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing mission-critical applications that support real-time banking and payment systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in COBOL and related mainframe technologies. Please apply if interested.
Candidates must work a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days a week in Plano, TX

  • Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, and CICS.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
  • Optimize and refactor legacy code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain batch and online programs, including MQ Series and Easytrieve components.
  • Support application modernization efforts, including integration with APIs and distributed systems.
  • Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth release management and change control.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
