Office & Facility Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Novi, MI
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (20 hrs/week, with some flexibility)
Duration: 12-month W2 Contract (with potential to extend)
Pay Rate: $20-$21/hr

Position Overview:

We re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office & Facility Coordinator to manage daily operations at a corporate facility. This is a part-time role focused on office logistics, supply management, safety compliance, and light IT coordination.


Key Responsibilities:

Office & Facility Operations

  • Distribute mail and manage internal/external communications

  • Order and track inventory of office and kitchen supplies

  • Maintain office cleanliness and assign shared space tasks

  • Set up desks, nameplates, and seating for new employees

  • Submit utility and office-related invoices for processing

IT & A/V Coordination

  • Act as the go-to contact for minor network and A/V issues

Safety & Compliance

  • Coordinate EHSS postings and annual Freon tracking

  • Ensure facility meets compliance standards

Lease & Vendor Support

  • Support finance with lease payments and reconciliations

  • Coordinate with landlord on maintenance (HVAC, inspections, etc.)

Security & Asset Management

  • Manage employee badges and maintain equipment inventory for tax reporting


What You ll Need:

  • HS Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in administrative, office, or facilities coordination

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities


Work Environment:

  • Office setting with standard cubicle layout

  • Core hours: 20 hrs/week with occasional flexibility
