Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of innovative, scalable, and data-heavy enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
- Guide software engineers throughout the development lifecycle
- Drive the creation of Greenfield solutions, building tech stacks from scratch and establishing implementation strategies
- Collaborate with Infosec, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to enforce best practices for secure and scalable system integrations
- Manage IT risks and technical debt, ensuring solutions remain robust and maintainable
- Oversee the design and delivery of self-service solutions using a mix of approved cloud and on-prem technologies
- Design and implement customizable BPM solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Develop and manage rule management systems and frameworks that convert business rules into machine-executable formats for automated decision-making
- Split time between mentoring engineering teams and personally contributing to the development of system components and infrastructure
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing existing systems and delivering new features and integrations to meet evolving business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical strategies and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
- 7+ years as a Solution Architect building innovative, scalable, data-heavy, enterprise-grade applications
- 5+ years of Greenfield development experience, building tech stacks and implementation strategies from the ground up
- Proven experience in collaboration with Infosec, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to establish architecture and integration best practices
- Strong track record in IT risk identification and remediation, as well as technical debt management
- Hands-on delivery of self-service solutions using approved cloud and on-prem platforms
- Experience building Business Process Management (BPM) solutions with dynamic, customizable workflows
- Deep expertise in Rules Engines and Rule Management/Translation frameworks - transforming user-defined rules into machine-readable logic
- Ability to split time between technical leadership (design, implementation, oversight) and individual contribution
