Description
We are looking for an experienced VP of Technology to lead the strategic development and implementation of robust technology solutions within our organization. This role will focus on aligning IT initiatives with business goals, improving operational processes, and fostering collaboration between technical teams and business functions. Based in San Antonio, Texas, this position requires a forward-thinking leader with a strong background in technology management and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute technology strategies that align with business objectives and ensure scalable, efficient solutions.
Provide leadership and direction for the NetSuite platform to support the company's strategic goals.
Collaborate with internal and external users to understand their needs and integrate these insights into IT solutions.
Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process and system improvements.
Establish and lead an IT Steering Committee to prioritize technology projects and align them with business value.
Oversee budget management, cost control, and vendor contract negotiations to ensure effective resource utilization.
Manage third-party partnerships with IT suppliers, ensuring optimal service delivery.
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to create a visionary technology roadmap.
Build and mentor a high-performing IT team capable of designing, developing, and supporting innovative technology solutions.
Implement and oversee an information security program to safeguard company data and systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in IT or Computer Science.
7-10 years of leadership experience in technology management.
Proven expertise in NetSuite, including development and analytics.
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and experience in business process improvement.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, vendor negotiations, and resource management.
Hands-on experience with technologies such as AWS, Cisco, Microsoft C#, and SQL.
Background in automating key business functions such as sales, accounting, and operations planning.
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and deliver multiple technology projects on time and within budget.
