Job Title: Network Engineer Aruba Wireless & Load Balancer Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with strong expertise in Aruba Wireless networking and Load Balancer technologies to join our infrastructure team. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and high-performance wireless networks and application delivery systems across our enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain Aruba wireless solutions (Aruba Mobility Controllers, Access Points, ClearPass, AirWave / Central).
Manage and optimize enterprise-grade load balancers (F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC, etc.) to ensure availability, performance, and security of applications.
Monitor wireless and application delivery systems to proactively address performance or security issues.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce network access control and segmentation using ClearPass or similar NAC solutions.
Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and configuration backups for wireless and load balancer infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents, including Wi-Fi connectivity, roaming issues, load balancer health checks, SSL offloading, and application traffic routing.
Provide input into network design, capacity planning, and infrastructure architecture initiatives.
Document configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and network diagrams.
Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation for critical infrastructure issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
3 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise Aruba Wireless systems.
In-depth knowledge of Aruba Mobility Controllers, AP provisioning, AirWave or Aruba Central, and ClearPass Policy Manager.
Strong experience with application load balancing solutions (e.g., F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, Citrix ADC / NetScaler).
Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking concepts, VLANs, routing protocols, and TCP/IP stack.
Familiarity with SSL certificates, health monitors, persistence profiles, and iRules (for F5).
Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, etc.).
Preferred:
Aruba certifications (e.g., Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional - ACMA/ACMP).
F5 certifications (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator - 201).
Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) for network automation is a plus.
Familiarity with SD-Branch or SD-WAN solutions integrated with Aruba or other vendors.
