Job Details
We are currently hiring for the following position:
Job Title: IBM MQ Administrator (APM6 & OBM Configuration
Location: Dallas, TX / Jersey City, NJ / Tampa, FL
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage IBM MQ (Distributed Platform) in enterprise environments.
- Configure and optimize APM6 & OBM for IBM MQ monitoring and management.
- Implement security configurations, clustering, and high-availability setups.
- Automate MQ tasks using scripting (Shell, Python, or similar).
- Troubleshoot MQ performance issues, queue management, and connectivity problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless MQ integration.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as an IBM MQ Administrator (Distributed Platform).
- Strong expertise in APM6 & OBM configuration for IBM MQ.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
- Knowledge of MQ security, networking, and clustering in distributed environments.
- Experience with performance tuning, disaster recovery, and MQ migration.
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows MQ deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IBM MQ Certification is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based MQ deployments (AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident and change management
