We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technician I to join our team as a Cable Assembly Technician supporting the US Navy in Bedford, IN
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting various types of cable assemblies used in different applications for military applications. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience and grow within our engineering and manufacturing team.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/GED and zero years of experience.
No clearance required to start however must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
Capability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
One or more years of experience in cable assembly, electronic assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing experience
Familiarity with cable types, connectors, and assembly techniques.
Proficiency with hand tools and testing equipment used in cable assembly.
