Position Overview
The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems and control equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production processes through effective control systems management.

The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems and control equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production processes through effective control systems management.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure PLCs and control systems for automated machinery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on control equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve existing control systems and implement new solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to control systems and procedures.
- Provide training and support to operators on automated equipment and HMI systems.
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
- Strong background in automated machinery and control systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation principles and practices.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
