About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Process Consultant Record to Report (R2R) with strong expertise in NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in process design, optimization, and transformation, along with hands-on experience in customer discovery, fit-gap analysis, and defining future-state operating models. This role will be instrumental in driving process excellence and ensuring seamless R2R operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand current business processes and pain points.
Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and NetSuite functionalities.
Define, design, and document the future state of R2R processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.
Lead process workshops with stakeholders to capture requirements and propose scalable solutions.
Partner with business users and technical teams to drive end-to-end process improvement initiatives.
Support the implementation and configuration of NetSuite for Record to Report functions.
Develop process documentation, including SOPs, flowcharts, and governance models.
Identify automation and efficiency opportunities within R2R cycles (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, reporting).
Provide training and change management support to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and FP&A teams to ensure process integration.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience as a Process Consultant / Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in the Finance domain.
Strong background in Record to Report (R2R) processes General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP implementation, configuration, or optimization.
Proven experience in process discovery, fit-gap assessment, and future-state design.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into clear process and system requirements.
Exposure to ERP transformation or finance modernization projects is preferred.
Understanding of change management and process governance frameworks.
