Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze business needs for new or modified systems and products
• Collaborate with Agile delivery teams, business partners, technical staff, and vendors
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, including workshops, interviews, and document analysis
• Translate business and system requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Track and manage requirements throughout the full SDLC lifecycle
• Identify, document, and help mitigate project risks
• Develop UAT test scripts based on use cases and support UAT execution
• Ensure business solutions align with overall business strategies and goals
• Utilize BI tools and diagramming tools to support analysis and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst on medium to large-scale projects
• 5+ years working in Agile environments, including user story and acceptance criteria development
• 5+ years experience writing UAT test scripts and supporting UAT testing
• 5+ years experience tracking requirements throughout the SDLC lifecycle
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches
• Proven experience identifying project risks and supporting mitigation strategies
