QA Backend Automation Test Engineer

As a QA Backend Automation Test Engineer, you will be part of a team using cutting edge cloud and data technologies. Join our team of professionals and accomplish what others only dream of. 

Responsibilities

• Attend daily Scrum meetings to understand the project due dates, deliverables and deadlines
• Perform functional testing and user acceptance testing
• Develop new and update existing automated test cases to include test acceptance criteria
• Assist in preparing test deliverables
• Peer review of test cases - provide feedback and updates as needed
• Execute test cases assigned within a sprint cycle
• Document test findings (Bugs, CRs, etc.)
• Perform cross-browser testing (IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari)
• Understand the functionality of the system and the requirements within the user stories
• Assist as needed in other functional areas of the project including training and analysis

Required Skills

• Hands on work experience with C#
• Experience with data migration projects, validation rules, and concepts
• Deep experience working in Visual Studio to build code, debug, and develop test cases in C#
• Be able to write post deploy test for automation in C# - XUnit framework
• Mock with API
• QA would not develop the .Net framework but would need to understand
• MS Unit
• Experience with Cypress (preferred) or Selenium required
