Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated mechanical systems for manufacturing and production environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical automation solutions and detailed layouts

  • Develop assembly drawings and automation concepts

  • Integrate robotics, sensors, actuators, and control systems

  • Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time

  • Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of automation systems

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Collaborate with electrical, software, and controls teams

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 5–7 years of experience in mechanical automation and robotics

  • Strong experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion control

  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with robotic arms, end-of-arm tooling, pick-and-place systems
