Job Details

We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff-level Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend development to help shape the future of our digital products. This is an opportunity to have a major impact on our technology stack, user experience, and engineering culture as we continue to scale. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build high-quality, performant, and scalable web applications.

REQUIREMENT: You must reside in one of the following states: AR, CA, CO, CT, HI, MA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NV, NY, OK, PA, TX, UT, VT, or WA.

What You'll Do
Lead Development: Drive the development of new product features from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality implementation and user experience.
Design & Architect: Build scalable, high-performance frontend architectures that seamlessly integrate with backend APIs.
Technical Decision-Making: Evaluate trade-offs between different solutions and make informed technical choices that align with business and user needs.
Mentorship: Support other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive and intuitive user experiences.
Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing development processes, best practices, data driven decisions, and engineering culture.

What We're Looking For
Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience building and engineering exceptional user interfaces.
React Mastery: Experience building applications with a strong grasp of data structures, best practices, scalable patterns, algorithms, and web performance optimization.
Design Intuition: Strong understanding of user experience and visual design principles.
Technical Leadership: Experience leading frontend initiatives, making architectural decisions, bridging the gap between FE and existing BE systems, and mentoring team members.
Backend Experience: Comfort working with Python, Django, and FastAPI, with the ability to build and interact with APIs effectively. Proven track record of contributing to python projects in a professional capacity.
Startup Mentality: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where adaptability and problem-solving are key.
Key Strengths: Persistence, intelligence, creativity, flexibility, passion, humility, curiosity, and professionalism.
Communication, soft skills, ability to effectively participate in discussions

Bonus Points - We'd Be Really Impressed If You Have:
Experience working with Kubernetes, Argo, and Google Cloud Platform.
A track record of building full-stack applications from scratch, making technical decisions that balance performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code and DevOps best practices.
