Duties: Presents project-specific, high-level solution designs to the Solution Architect through an established architecture review process. Works closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure effective test strategies to support technical implementation. Collaborates with and aligns to information, data, security, and infrastructure strategies. Works with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure adherence to established standards and "best practices." Partners with internal business stakeholders and IT Business Analysts to review and understand business requirements. Participates as a member of the project teams to ensure optimal design solutions are understood and implemented. Translates business requirements and conceptual architectural design into high-level solution designs. Ensures the alignment of architectural designs and solutions with the organization's business objectives and architectural standards, principles, and patterns. Documents and reviews technical specifications in collaboration with Systems Analysts. Facilitates and leads design review sessions and technical discussions. Coordinates with a Systems Analyst to transform high-level solution designs into detailed solution designs. Supports initiatives through the entire solution delivery lifecycle from initial launch to production deployment, identifying potential technical risks and develops mitigation plans. Supports the Solution Architect in the evaluation and decision process of buy-versus-build, including packaged applications, SaaS and Cloud-based offerings. Stays abreast of current and emerging trends and technologies and integrates them into technical solutions according to architectural standards. Works with Solution Engineers across to provide mentorship and collaborate on the use of tools and methodologies, and to share expertise to ensure scalable, quality end-to-end solutions that effectively solves business concerns. Creates and maintains project design artifacts to capture current state. Represents project teams on Architecture, Security, and Financial control review boards.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience transforming and implementing conceptual architecture into detailed technical requirements

Or, in the alternative:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience transforming and implementing conceptual architecture into detailed technical requirements

Required Skills:

Experience must include 3 years in each of the following skills:
1) Leveraging variant documentation techniques to prepare systems architecture diagrams, business process flow diagrams, event sequence diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, UML, and class diagrams;

2) Designing, developing, and deploying agent contracting and licensing solutions for automated and integrated management of agent lifecycle, including onboarding, contracting, licensing, and termination;

3) Building and consuming REST and SOAP web services and APIs using Spring Boot;

4) Leveraging DevOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts to enable deployment of infrastructure and application code; and,

5) Performing web application development using Java, JavaScript, Angular JS, and Spring framework.
