HYDROLOGIC / HYDROLOGY ENGINEER:
We are currently looking for the right team member with 3+ years of experience in Hydrology for our Municipal Engineering Department. This challenging position is structured to offer the successful candidate ongoing learning and career advancement. Team members work on projects that have a direct impact in local communities and provide a variety of municipal engineering and planning services affecting local infrastructure and land use. We work in urban, suburban and rural locations and collaborate with each client to understand their goal and vision. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Hydrologic / Hydrology Engineer is expected to possess in-depth knowledge of the distribution, circulation, and physical properties of underground and surface waters.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be physically able to conduct field work and handle equipment; ability to traverse various terrain when working in the field; Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use; May require occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.

The annual base salary range for this full-time position in the United States is $91,000 - $151,800. This range represents a good faith estimate and is based on factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range shown reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations.
Within this range, individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, education, and training.

- Proficient with Stormwater Management design.
- Proficient with Stormwater Management Basin design
- Proficient with Stormwater Detention / Retention systems
- Familiar with Green Infrastructure
- Generation of Hydrologic & Hydraulic studies
- Permitting
- Familiarity with PMP Manual
- Generation of TIN CAD surfaces in Civil3D
- Proficient in one or more of the following: PondPack, StormCAD, and/or HydroCAD
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to draft reports including illustrations, appendices, maps and other attachments to summarize research results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Stormwater Modeling Software, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSES REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
- Three plus years of experience in related field or hydrologic work preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to field visits and client meetings as required.
