Job Details

Position: Mainframe Developer (Natural/Adabas)

Duration: 12 Months with extension (Preferably Hybrid, are open to remote)

Location: North Dakota

Required Skills:

  • Experience in application support and system analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications and data workflows.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Basic SQL or data query skills (preferred).

Summary:

  • The Application Support Analyst will provide system analysis and support for IT
  • applications, ensuring smooth operations and assisting with enhancements as needed.
  • This role focuses on application troubleshooting, user support, and coordination
  • between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and application functionality to identify improvement
  • opportunities.
  • Provide day-to-day support for IT systems, including issue resolution and user
  • assistance.
  • Document system configurations, workflows, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers and other IT staff within HHS and NDIT to implement
  • changes or enhancements.
  • Assist with testing and validation of application updates.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding system performance
  • and changes.
  • Coordinate work with NDIT technical staff to meet state IT standards and
  • requirements.
  • Participate in project work as directed by the program manager and as assigned
  • by the project management team, the approved project plans, and the approved
  • project schedules.
