Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to lead architecture strategy and solution design for the Supply Chain Sourcing & Procurement domain. This role requires deep functional expertise, strong technical leadership, and a strategic mindset to deliver scalable, secure, enterprise-grade solutions across global supply chain and retail operations.
The architect will play a critical role in transforming supplier engagement, sourcing, and procurement capabilities, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
< data-start="1052" data-end="1078">Architecture Strategy</>Define and evolve target and transition architectures for sourcing, procurement, and supplier engagement platforms
Align architecture direction with enterprise strategy and long-term business goals
Lead end-to-end solution architecture across multiple Supply Chain Organizations (SCOs)
Design scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures
Ensure seamless integration and data flow across sourcing, procurement, and supplier systems
Partner with procurement leaders, category managers, product owners, and IT teams
Translate business requirements into sustainable and extensible architecture designs
Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices
Participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and governance forums
Assess and recommend sourcing, procurement, and supplier collaboration platforms
Lead vendor evaluations, RFI/RFP processes, and solution selection
Ensure compliance with global security, privacy, regulatory, and supplier risk requirements
Support supplier compliance, risk management, and ESG initiatives
Domain Expertise
Supplier onboarding, qualification, sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and payables
Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes including sourcing events, CLM, invoicing, and supplier collaboration
Supplier lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and risk management
Supplier and partner portals with integration to ERP and procurement platforms
Cross-platform system dependencies and complex integrations
Key Deliverables
High-level conceptual, logical, and process flow designs
Detailed architecture artifacts including:
Application and integration architecture diagrams
Data flow and system interaction models
Sequence and activity diagrams
Interface specifications and service contracts
Architecture roadmaps and transition plans aligned to a North Star vision
Solution options with recommendations and rationale
Executive-level and technical presentations and documentation
Qualifications & Experience
< data-start="3391" data-end="3406">Experience</>10+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture roles
8+ years hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier engagement
Experience in QSR, retail, or manufacturing environments preferred
Supplier management platforms: SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Aravo, HICX, APEX Analytics
ERP and procurement systems: Oracle Procurement Cloud, SAP
Experience designing supplier portals and partner collaboration platforms
Strong background in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
API-driven and integration-centric architectures
Proven ability to define and drive enterprise sourcing and procurement architectures
Strong experience creating architecture artifacts and integration blueprints
Ability to lead vendor evaluations and procurement technology assessments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT
