Location : Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled STIBO PIM Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, with a strong focus on STIBO STEP MDM/PIM (on-premises & SaaS) solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, engage with customers, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable solution.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Own the overall STIBO PIM solution architecture and technical direction aligned with retail domain best practices
  • Lead current-state assessments of STIBO implementations and identify gaps across functionality, performance, and scalability
  • Implementation Experience in Stibo SaaS
  • Rationalize customizations and recommend out-of-box or composable alternatives
  • Design the end-to-end Stibo MDM / STEP architecture for Product, Supplier, Customer, and other master data domains.
  • Define data models, hierarchies, taxonomies, workflows, governance rules, and integration patterns.
  • Develop data lineage, metadata models, versioning strategies, and governance frameworks.
  • Build high-quality architecture that supports large SKU volumes and complex catalog structures.
  • Lead Stibo MDM solution design and provide overall technical direction.
  • Guide developers, data engineers, functional consultants, and integration teams.
  • Drive data quality initiatives, validation rules, match/merge logic, and governance setup.
  • Oversee configuration, customization, and performance optimization of STEP.
  • Architect integration between Stibo and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, eCommerce, DAM, and data warehouses.
  • Design APIs, web services, ETL pipelines, and middleware integrations (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
  • Experience with Gateway Endpoints and Event Processors in STEP.
  • Ensure smooth publishing and synchronization of master data across the organization.
  • Lead product data onboarding and enrichment processes.
  • Build workflows for supplier and customer onboarding.
  • Manage taxonomy and attribute models across large datasets.
  • Define governance rules for attributes, digital assets, pricing, and product lifecycle.
  • Lead migration strategies from legacy systems into STEP
  • Provide target-state architecture and modernization recommendations, including SaaS readiness
  • Conduct "Whiteboard" sessions with clients through the conceptualization, design and implementation of new systems, middleware, MDM, and business intelligence solutions.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in PIM / MDM or enterprise data platforms
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with STIBO STEP PIM in architect or lead roles
  • 5+ years of expertise with STEP configuration, XSLT, XML, REST API’s, JSON, SQL, APIs, and UI customizations.
  • Proven experience delivering multiple full-lifecycle STIBO STEP implementations
  • Expertise in MDM, PIM, taxonomy design, data modeling, workflows, and business rules.
  • Experience architecting enterprise-level MDM systems.
  • Experience with large product catalogs, supplier data, and asset management.
  • Good understanding of eCommerce, retail, distribution, or manufacturing domains.
  • Strong understanding of retail product lifecycle, merchandising, and omnichannel distribution
  • Familiarity with DAM, syndication platforms, pricing, and inventory systems

 

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • STIBO certification(s)
  • Experience with STIBO STEP SaaS and on-prem → SaaS migrations
  • Familiarity with cloud-based PIM solutions and SaaS environments.
  • Experience with Vendor, Supplier, Customer domains is an added advantage
