Job Details
We're seeking a DevOps engineer to help scale our infrastructure and improve our deployment processes. You'll work on automation, monitoring, and reliability initiatives that enable our development teams to ship features quickly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Automate routine operational tasks using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
- Manage database operations including backups, migrations, and performance tuning
- Ensure security best practices across all systems and deployments
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
- Document processes and maintain runbooks for operational procedures
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or system administration
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
- Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
