Job Title: Senior Retrospective Engineer
Location: Reston, VA
Work Type: Onsite (No Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead retrospective programs and analyze incident trends to identify systemic issues.
Facilitate root cause investigations and implement permanent corrective actions.
Drive the strategic enhancement of the CoE framework across the enterprise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex technology programs.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
Influence diverse technology teams to adopt high-value solutions and best practices.
Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide programs.
Strong background in IT operations, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Expertise in strategic planning, IT governance, and portfolio management.
Familiarity with governance frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
Experience with IT PMO processes, budgeting, and tool adoption.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and build partnerships across the organization.
Experience in financial services is a plus, but not required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with AWS services (e.g., CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Systems Manager).
Experience with Active Directory, SQL, and networking platforms.
Skilled in using ServiceNow, JIRA, SharePoint, Visio, Excel, and Word.
Familiarity with scheduling and event management tools.
