Statistical Software Configuration Specialist (Statistica TIBCO)
Position Overview
The Statistical Software Configuration Specialist is responsible for configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the TIBCO Statistica platform to support enterprise-level analytics, workflow automation, and data-driven decision-making. The role partners closely with data scientists, business analysts, quality engineering teams, and IT operations to ensure Statistica is deployed effectively, securely, and in alignment with organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain TIBCO Statistica (Server, Enterprise, Web, and Workspaces).
Administer Statistica environments including user management, roles, permissions, and access control.
Integrate Statistica with enterprise systems such as databases, LDAP/AD, ERP, MES, LIMS, and cloud platforms.
Configure data pipelines, analyses, Statistica Workflows, and production models.
Build and maintain automated workflows for manufacturing, quality, or R&D analytics.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Work with IT security teams to implement encryption, SSO, and compliant access governance.
Collaborate with data scientists to implement predictive models in Statistica Enterprise.
Create technical documentation including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and validation artifacts.
Deliver end-user training and support for analysts, engineers, and business users.
Support regulated environments (e.g., FDA, GxP, ISO) through validation, audit readiness, and change control.
Leverage scripting within Statistica (Python, R, Statistica Visual Basic) for customizations.

Technical Skills
Strong expertise in TIBCO Statistica Enterprise (configuration, deployment, workflows).
Experience in Statistica components:
Enterprise Manager
Statistica Web
Workspace/Workflow Builder
Statistica Data Miner
Proficiency in scripting: Python, R, SVB (Statistica Visual Basic).
Experience integrating Statistica with external systems:
SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
Active Directory/LDAP
REST/SOAP APIs
Knowledge of statistical modelling techniques: regression, DOE, SPC, clustering, predictive analytics.
Understanding of ETL processes and data preparation.
Familiarity with cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Experience with system monitoring tools and debugging logs.
Functional / Domain Skills
Understanding of manufacturing operations, Six Sigma, quality engineering, or R&D analytics.
Experience supporting GxP/validated systems (21 CFR Part 11, CSV).
Ability to translate business requirements into Statistica workflows and dashboards.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
