Duration: 6 months with potential to extend up to 18 months. Potential to convert to FT for the right candidate.
Location- Raleigh, NC (4 days onsite)- Hybrid
Ideal Candidate Profile Summary:
- Must have: minimum 3 years order management experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of IBM Sterling Order Management System
- Prior experience in other order management systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Manhattan Active, etc.)
- Prior experience with both retail and order management.
- This position will be part of the supply chain team leading merchandising and supply chain product functions.
Job Summary
This role is the product owner(PO) for enterprise reporting and
will manage one or more reporting /visualizations. PO will work with a cross functional team of
Business Analysts, Design Thinking, BI Architects and Data Lake team along with
Business stakeholders to define and own the roadmap of assigned domain. PO will
be responsible to define different milestones/deliverables to provide increment
value to business leveraging agile models. He/She under limited supervision
ensures business objectives are met and value delivered through successful
execution. He/she will be responsible for communication and plan the rollout of
assigned product.
Primary Job Duties
& Responsibilities
* Accountable for defining and driving Business
Priorities program deliverables in alignment with business scope for reports
development
* Acts as content authority for the Agile team
regarding 'what gets built'. Product Owner relentlessly interacts with business
and functional partners and other stakeholders that represent the
analytics/reports vision and business needs.
* Based upon the analytics & reporting team s
vision, drives, observes and/or reviews business feedback, as well as core
capability strategy and delivery efforts.
* Provides guidance to the team to ensure what is
being developed satisfies the needs of the business. Ensures Agile Team's
understanding of business objectives.
* Engages required business representatives/SME's.
Determines how the business needs will be satisfied via design, build and test
by the Execution Team.
* Escalates business issues and questions for
decision making to appropriate stakeholders.
* Ensures overall delivery of business value and
business adoption of solutions, able to lead iteration and increment planning
for the Agile team.
* Facilitates identification, oversees development
and completion of features and user stories.
* Develops stakeholder impact assessment for
capabilities being delivered.
* Participates in readiness definition and
planning. Exercises judgment in planning and latitude in determining objectives
of assignments.
* Makes decisions that integrate business
goals/objectives aligned with project/program. Addresses situations that
require a choice among several solutions and works in ambiguous situations.
* This job does not manage others, although
through a matrixed relationship is responsible for leading the feature team and
providing input into performance evaluations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* He/She has demonstrated success as Sr BA or
Product owner in an analytics program
* Understands Visualization (PowerBI preferred)
and Data modelling concepts
* Needs to have a technology background and
business acumen
* Has led cross functional teams in various
capacities
* Demonstrated experience in Release management
and communication plans
* Demonstrated scope negotiation experience to
define priorities/MVP and minor/major release
