Technical Business Analyst (Software Development , Developer Experience)

Location: Memphis, TN or Remote (Preference for local candidates)
Duration: 18 months + extensions
Rate: $48/hr W2 (no benefits)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in developer analytics platforms and software delivery metrics. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering, data, and leadership teams helping visualize and improve developer productivity and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with engineering and product teams to define and track software delivery metrics (DORA, cycle time, PR throughput, etc.)

• Implement and manage developer analytics platforms such as LinearB (must have), Jellyfish, or Haystack

• Integrate data from Jira, Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools for end-to-end visibility

• Create dashboards and insights using Power BI or Tableau

• Collaborate with Developer Experience and Platform teams to enhance IDPs / Developer Portals (Backstage, Amplify, Mulesoft)

• Present findings and trends through data storytelling to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with LinearB (mandatory)

• Solid understanding of software delivery metrics and developer productivity analytics

• Experience working with Jira, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines

• Strong dashboarding skills with Power BI or Tableau

• Excellent communication and analytical thinking

Preferred:

• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)

• Exposure to SaaS tool configuration and integrations

• Prior work in engineering metrics enablement or developer experience
