American National is currently seeking deeply technical, creative, and hands-on senior full-stack developer to build easy to use robust enterprise products that improve efficiency, security and contributes to our application development.

Your Impact:
  • Build robust applications, removing the complexity and making them extremely easy to use
  • Apply design patterns in building responsive and intuitive user interface
  • Build and maintain re-usable UI style guides, Server side components to drive consistency across products
  • Drive performance tuning, usability improvements, and best security practices
  • Translate user insights into meaningful recommendations for the overall design strategy and interaction
  • Actively contribute to the adoption of frameworks, standards, and new technologies


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience in web-based software development environments and demonstrated ability in .Net with C# and ASP.
  • Experience in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript & NodeJS
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
  • Experience with DB2 and SQL Server databases; ability to verify and create complex views, queries and stored procedures
  • Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design concepts and implementation
  • Experience with non-functional requirements such software security risks and remediations, implementing owasp recommendations, application performance, code-reuse, etc.
  • Experience with the full product life cycle including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, QA and deployment
  • Strong written, verbal, customer service and analytical skills are necessary
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with constant change


Our Preferences:
  • VB programming experience
  • Experience with Caching Frameworks (Redux or others)
  • Experience with GIT and TFS
  • Experience with agile development (scrum)
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
