Job Details

One of our federal government partners has an ongoing need for skilled technology personnel to assist with projects headed by the agency. Information technology services will be required for work that requires a senior network engineer with a strong background in data center routing and switching. This role will last for at least 6 months with the possibility of extensions!

Duties:

  • Assist the networking team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting routing and switching issues, developing new designs, managing maintenance windows, and handling any other tasks as required.
  • Extensive expertise in BGP and OSPF, traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover scenarios.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in supporting enterprise-grade routers and switches in a large data center environment.
  • Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large data center networks.
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, etc) and Cisco Catalyst switches and routers.
  • XVLAN, Wireless and AWS networking is a plus.
