Job Details

Title- BPM Camunda SME

Location Warren, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite) local resources highly preferred.

P&C insurance domain preferred but finance domain experience can also be considered.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of business process automation solutions using the Camunda BPM platform.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BPMN workflows and decision models.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to BPM best practices and coding standards.
Architect and document end-to-end process automation solutions integrating Camunda with enterprise systems via REST APIs, messaging queues, and microservices.
Oversee system analysis, modeling, implementation, testing, debugging, and deployment activities across environments.
Knowledge of assigning tasks to users or groups using expressions or identity service.
Ability to configure candidate users/groups and manage task authorization.
Experience with Camunda Forms (using JSON schema) or integrating external forms via HTML/JavaScript.
Familiarity with form validation, field binding, and dynamic form rendering.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex workflow orchestration and integration issues.
Conduct code and model reviews to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.
Ensure seamless integration of Camunda with other enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, and custom applications.

Mandatory Skills:
8 12 years of experience in enterprise application development, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Camunda BPM.
Deep expertise in BPMN 2.0, DMN, and workflow orchestration using Camunda.
Strong understanding of Camunda architecture including external task pattern, job executor, and process engine configuration.
Experience integrating Camunda with Java-based microservices, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems.
Proficiency in process modeling, decision modeling, and business rule implementation.
Proven ability to lead client engagements, including requirement analysis, solution design, and stakeholder presentations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in complex business process scenarios.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently or as part of a team.
Additional Skills:
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of identity and access management, process governance, and compliance standards.
Experience with frontend technologies (Angular, React) for building task user
