Project Description | This project focuses on modernizing a 20-year-old legacy enterprise asset management system. The goal is to implement a modern EAM platform that enhances data governance, improves operational efficiency, and ensures long-term support and scalability. The project involves standardizing and cleansing data from 17 plants and setting up a data dictionary for future use. Current Phase: The project has recently launched and is in the readiness phase. The team is actively identifying the requirements and resources necessary for a successful implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Master Data Management:
A specialist will lead the effort to cleanse and standardize data from 17 plants. This includes harmonizing parts and asset data to ensure consistency and reliability in the new system. - Data Dictionary Development:
The specialist will also be responsible for creating a comprehensive data dictionary. This resource will serve as a foundation for maintaining standardized data practices and ensuring accurate, consistent data management across the organization.

Duties/Day to Day Overview | We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to support the implementation of a new Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong blend of business process knowledge and technical system expertise. The MDM Specialist will lead data standardization and cleansing efforts, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data related to parts, assets, and related reference data. Key Responsibilities: - Lead master data management efforts for the enterprise asset management system implementation.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements, usage, and ownership.
- Standardize, cleanse, and enrich data (e.g., parts, assets) to support system migration and ongoing operations.
- Develop and maintain a data dictionary that defines data elements, formats, and rules.
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, including data quality metrics, validation rules, and maintenance processes.
- Define roles and responsibilities for data stewardship across departments.
- Work closely with the EAM implementation team to ensure proper integration and data mapping.
- Support data migration planning and testing efforts.
- Provide recommendations for ongoing data quality improvements and best practices

Top Requirements (Must haves) | - Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Master Data Management, preferably in support of large system implementations.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data domains, particularly related to assets, parts, and maintenance records.
- Proven experience with data cleansing, standardization, and governance tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management systems (e.g., IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, SAP PM) is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
- Experience creating or managing data governance programs from the ground up.
- Working knowledge of data migration tools or ETL processes.
- Prior involvement in ERP or large-scale software implementations
