Overview
The Enterprise Data Accessibility team is looking for a Manager, Data Engineering to drive the enablement and support of our Business Intelligence products by innovating, problem-solving, and fostering a collaborative team culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about people leadership and data-driven decision making, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and has experience leveraging technology to solve problems.

Role
Lead the development and support of Business Intelligence products to help internal users maximize the value of enterprise data
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation.
Encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Mentor junior engineers and cultivate a strong engineering culture.
Provide coding and design guidance to junior team members
Provide strategic leadership on architecture, methodologies, and best practices.
Collaborate with peers to remove barriers and help enable the team's success.
Optimize processes for better data delivery, scalability, and reliability.

All About You
Demonstrated leadership skills in matrix-based teams and working with diverse, geographically distributed members.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile Methodologies, and engineering best practices.
Skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
Always look for potential solutions to solve problems
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, such as DOMO, Alteryx, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI, Tableau
Understand Agile Methodology for delivering engineering results
Ability to identify and implement improvements in development workflows, enhancing efficiency and team productivity.
Strong ability to work across teams, functions, and geographies, fostering effective collaboration.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships, drive alignment, and navigate organizational dynamics.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
