Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, support reporting initiatives, and enhance data-driven decision-making processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of standardized reporting tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
Partner with product owners and divisional stakeholders to gather and define reporting requirements.
Develop and maintain standardized reporting dashboards for finance teams and senior management.
Create detailed and structured business requirement documents to capture stakeholder needs.
Utilize tools such as DevOps for user story planning, tracking, and documentation.
Communicate requirements clearly to the development team and validate deliverables.
Conduct user acceptance testing and perform thorough data validation.
Collaborate with leadership to plan and prioritize project roadmaps.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality reporting tools and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and tools like DevOps or Jira.
Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a high degree of integrity.
