Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office in Raleigh, NC.

This role is responsible for leading a group of consulting team members in the support of the implementation of technology and strategic initiatives, specifically as related to technology metrics and reporting. This role will support the alignment of departmental strategies with corporate and department goals and ensure effective communication of strategic metrics throughout the department. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills and business acumen. This role will partner with internal risk teams responding to questions and effective challenges associated with operational risk, metric values, sources of record, and calculation methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership - Oversees the execution of key initiatives from inception to completion. Develops plans, establish timelines, allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters. Assists in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors.
  • Strategy - Supports senior leadership in the implementation of the outlined business and technology strategies, including metrics and reporting. Assists in the formulation of long-term business and department roadmaps.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Partners closely with cross-functional teams and departmental leaders to ensure alignment of strategic priorities and initiatives with organizational goals. Creates, implements, and manages internal communication plans to support business initiatives. Serves as an advisor to senior leaders, providing insights, recommendations, and data-driven analyses to support key decision-making processes.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and impact of project impact and performance. Provides actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Business Strategy or Management Consulting OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Business Strategy or Management Consulting

License or Certification Type: Lean Six Sigma experience or certification

Preferred Skill(s):
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, specifically a large financial institution
  • Experience with metrics and reporting in a regulated environment
  • Experience working with manual data processing and creatiion of automated processes to extract, transform, load, and visualize data
  • Experience with operational data stores for reporting purposes and archiving historical data
