Job Description:
We're looking for a Consultant with expertise in Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR) to support Department of Defense Treasury compliance projects. Your role will be to help a company that has been given new financial reporting requirements from Treasury, and they need someone who can come in to do assessments, discovery, audit and help coach them, then train them up on how to become into compliance.
This short-term engagement focuses on regulatory interpretation, compliance readiness, and ensuring audit objectives are met-without requiring any technical coding work. If you have experience with ICFR, DoD or Treasury environments and familiarity with audit/regulatory frameworks, this would be a great consulting engagement for you.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience doing financial assessments with DoD prime vendor companies.
- Experience with Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR) framework and policies
- Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
- Background in audit, accounting, or compliance with focus on SOX, controls testing, and federal financial management records.
- Experience doing assessments & discoveries, then coaching companies on how to build a road-map on achieving business objectives.
Bonus / Soft Skills
- CPA, CISA, CIA or similar professional certification
- Experience handling CUI or working in secure/government environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders
