Test Lead Automation
FedTec is seeking a Test Lead Automation with strong hands-on experience in Playwright-based test automation, microservices testing, and cloud-native applications. The candidate will lead automation strategy, framework design, and execution across UI, API, and integration layers while collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and product teams.
Automation & Technical Leadership
- Define and own the test automation strategy for UI, API, and microservices.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks.
- Lead automation efforts for web applications, REST APIs, and event-driven microservices.
- Review automation code and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and reusability.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers in automation skills and modern testing practices.
Testing & Quality Engineering
- Perform test planning, test design, and test execution for complex systems.
- Implement API automation using tools/frameworks like Playwright API, REST Assured, Postman, or similar.
- Validate microservices architecture, including contract testing and service virtualization.
- Implement end-to-end testing across distributed systems.
- Drive shift-left testing and continuous testing practices.
CI/CD & Cloud-Native Testing
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Execute tests in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for test execution and environment setup.
- Monitor test results, flaky tests, and improve pipeline reliability.
