Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$123000 - $167000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

We're looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our Information Security and Risk team. In this role, you will focus on our Data Protection Program, helping to design, engineer and implement Data Security and Records Management solutions that protect our company and customer data.

- This position will work side-by-side Product Management, Architecture, Security Engineers and Analysts passionate about protecting and managing data through its lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Data Governance, Privacy, Legal and other internal business partners to achieve outcomes and meet our information security and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Recommend, design and lead implementation of solutions that enable strategic data protection objectives, reduce risk and ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
- Assist with the development, testing and implementation of new processes and procedures while ensuring existing ones are kept accurate and up to date.
- Work with solutions that improve data security and lifecycle management for on-prem and cloud environments.
- Provide input to strategy and prioritization of our data protection service.
- Leverage data and analytics to create metrics that demonstrate compliance and highlight risk.
- Build strong partnerships across enterprise teams. Garner support, trust, and engagement to proactively overcome barriers to stay product centric.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone with:
- Associate or bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience and 6+ years of related work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in information security engineering with a focus on data security, governance or records retention preferred.
- Ability to lead and drive projects requiring a high degree of enterprise collaboration.
- Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work against aggressive timelines.
- Proven experience implementing data discovery and classification frameworks and policies to support access controls, retention schedules, data handling standards and data loss prevention (DLP) strategies.
- Excellent presentation skills in order to speak to a variety of audiences, including written and oral communication.
Additionally preferred technical experience:
- Experience optimizing and operationalizing data security detections and behavioral analytics.
- Cloud experience - AWS preferred
- Information security and risk management processes and controls engineering - security operations, architecture, identity & access management, risk assessment.
