Job Summary

The Data & Information Developer II is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing corporate business intelligence and reporting applications that satisfy business needs and meet performance expectations. The incumbent is also responsible for configuring new reporting applications in the system and performance tuning of existing applications working closely with database administrators. The Data & Information Developer II also conducts data analysis, and assists in presenting information that enables business decision making. This person will be doing heavy SQL development with stored procedures, tables, queries, etc. and will be developing custom dashboard in Tableau.
Job-Specific Requirements:


Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Must have at least five years of experience in SQL coding for relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, or Netezza.
Must have at least three years of experience developing applications in business intelligence and analytics platforms such as WebFOCUS, Tableau or SAS.
Prior experience in data analytics is highly preferred.
Exposure to Object Oriented programming techniques, HTML 5 or JavaScript is preferred.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, and demonstrated ability in business writing.
Must be able to be on-call for after-business-hours support as needed.
