What you'll do...
Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Develop software applications and user-facing features. Use open source frameworks such as ReactJS, Nodejs, and Bootstrap to build front end applications which are reusable. Assess technical risks and system design, identify areas of improvement, and suggest and implement solutions. Prepare technical implementation and project feasibility documents. Optimize application for maximum performance and scalability. Analyze, design, and modify software projects and/or products incorporating HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX as well as other techniques. Write unit test cases to ensure the applications are working as expected using Enzyme, Chia, Sinon, Jest, and React-Testing Library. Monitor and identify issues reported by user and product owners using Quantum Metric and provide solutions. Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and other team members to deliver high quality applications.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area; OR Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.
Skills required: Experience coding in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Single Page Applications using React.js and Redux. Experience with ES6 features and syntax including arrow functions, spread operators, destructuring, and modules. Experience writing unit tests using Enzyme, Jest, and React-Testing Library to make sure applications work as expected. Experience participating in code review and release support. Experience using Git and GitHub for version control. Experience using Quantum Metric to identify issues found in an application. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $141,751/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
