About the role
We re seeking an experienced Clarity PPM (Broadcom, formerly CA PPM) consultant to help us fully leverage the platform across project intake, resource management, reporting, and financial tracking and integrate it with our ecosystem (SAP, Workday, etc.). You ll assess our current setup, implement best practices, and enable our teams through training and knowledge transfer.
Key responsibilities (consultative)
- Lead a rapid health check of our current Clarity PPM use (projects, resources, financials, reporting) and deliver a prioritized improvement roadmap.
- Facilitate discovery workshops to map intake-to-reporting processes; define standard templates, roles/RACI, and operating cadences.
- Coach PMs, resource managers, and finance partners on demand/capacity practices, cost plans/budgets/forecasts, capitalization, and benefits tracking.
- Advise on a reporting strategy (Jaspersoft/BI): define KPIs, executive/team dashboards, data definitions, and a sustainable reporting catalog.
- Recommend governance and data quality controls; establish procedures for releases, change management, and audit/compliance.
- Guide integration approach with SAP, Workday, and adjacent tools: produce interface requirements, data mappings, reconciliation checks, and oversee implementation by internal teams/partners.
- Provide train-the-trainer enablement, playbooks, and office hours; upskill Clarity admins to maintain configurations and evolve the platform.
- Conduct periodic design reviews and adoption checkpoints; measure outcomes and adjust the roadmap based on value delivered.
Qualifications
- 10+ years implementing and administering Clarity PPM in mid/large enterprises.
- Deep expertise with resource management, demand/capacity, financials, and reporting modules.
- Proven experience integrating Clarity with SAP and Workday (APIs, mappings, reconciliation).
- Strong SQL and reporting skills; experience with Jaspersoft/JasperReports or BI tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to translate business needs into scalable configurations.
- Experience in financial services; familiarity with SAFe/hybrid agile planning.
- Scripting (GEL), XOG, and REST APIs; Jira/ServiceNow integration exposure.
