Role : Sr. Java UI Architect
Type : Hybrid - 3 days onsite
Location : NYC, NY - candidates must be only local to NY or NJ.
We are seeking a Hands-on UI Architect with deep expertise in modern open-source UI frameworks, secure web integrations, and scalable architecture design. This role is ideal for a strategic technologist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can lead product discussions, and deliver robust, secure, and high-performance front-end solutions.
All About You
- Minimum 12-15 years of software development, design & architecture experience on medium to complex applications
- Good knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms, Architecture Principles, Design Patterns.
- Experience of building services on cloud platform such as PCF.
- Experience in Java/J2EE technologies with Spring Boot framework, REST APIs, JSON, Groovy, Grails, front end technologies (CSS, HTML, AngularJS,React or similar framework), Web & Application Server
- Database [Oracle,Postgres, Redis, MySQL]
- Hands on experience of writing Junit/Spock test cases.
- Micro services architecture working experience is added advantage
- Experience with AngularJS 6.0 or later. Exposure to Jasmine, Karma is added advantage
- Application Security including information security principles and realization, web app security and PCI DSS Compliance
- Experience in implementing CI/CD build pipelines with tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory
- Experience with software development frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe Agile
- Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and business
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of front-end development experience, with UI architecture or leadership role
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Deep expertise in modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte).
- Strong understanding of web authentication, iframe security, and browser APIs.
- Experience with CORS, CSRF, OAuth2, WebAuthn, and CHIPS.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js for SSR, tooling, and integration.
- Familiarity with MicroFrontend, CDN, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong grasp of UI testing frameworks and design patterns.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate product vision into technical execution
