RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a well-known and global-based organization (a unique industry) located in Manhattan - financial district/hybrid) in search of a Senior Systems Administrator.
Summary:
This is a small environment where you can wear many hats. This is a highly visible opportunity as it reports to the CIO. This is a great opportunity to enhance your security skills, though it is not a requirement to qualify for this role. This position will also have the opportunity to take on security-related tasks if they desire. The Administrator will administer, implement, monitor and support all aspects of global infrastructure (WAN, LAN, servers, virtual machines, M365, Active Directory, Azure, cloud apps, etc.).
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Computer Science or related
* Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows 2012/2016/2019 Server
* Working knowledge of domain administration (AD, Azure tenancy, Azure integrations, MFA, Group Policy, etc.)
* Working knowledge of WAN/LAN/tcp concepts
* Strong experience with Windows servers, a strong, active directory (advanced level group policy)
* Experience supporting an Azure/Entra environment
* Experience supporting VLAN/WAN environments
Nice to have:
* Working knowledge of MSSQL 2019, Oracle 12c and Oracle Cloud products
* Working knowledge of Veritas BackupExec
* Experience with network security, providing security assessments, and working with Splunk (SIEM or similar tools, etc.)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
