Position Summary
Join our team as a Mid-Level Network Admin role, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network solutions with a focus on Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and Cisco SD-WAN technologies. You ll work hands-on with Cisco networking hardware/software, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-WAN solutions in data center and branch environments.
Support network refresh and migration projects, including staging, equipment shipping, and on-site coordination.
Monitor network performance, analyze issues, and proactively resolve problems to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver on business and technical requirements.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for operational teams.
Participate in change management processes and track requests through ticketing systems.
Contribute to network automation initiatives using tools such as Ansible and Python.
Provide technical support and training to end users and junior staff.
Required Skills & Experience
3 6 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a Cisco environment (with relevant degree) or 6 8 years without a degree.
Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and SD-WAN technologies (configuration, deployment, and support).
Strong understanding of Cisco ACI architecture, policies, and integrations.
Familiarity with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, and network segmentation.
Proven experience with network troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Python) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Experience with ticketing and change management processes in enterprise environments.
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Cisco Certifications: CCNA (required), CCNP (preferred).
Experience with cloud networking and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
