Long term remote contract opportunity for a Workday HRIS Analyst specializing in Advanced Compensation.



Must HAVE Advanced Compensation experience, including configuration, full end-to-end setup, and custom report creation with calculated fields.

Additional nice-to-haves include experience with Performance and Payroll modules.



Location: Remote

Duration: 6-12 months+ contract



Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday HRIS Analyst with hands-on experience in Workday's Advanced Compensation module to join our HR Technology team. This role will be responsible for the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday functionality-particularly around compensation planning, bonus cycles, and merit processes. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Advanced Compensation and contribute to broader Workday HRIS initiatives across the organization.



Key Responsibilities:

Configure, test, and maintain Workday Advanced Compensation features including merit, bonus, and stock modules.

Support annual compensation planning cycles, including system setup, data validation, report creation, and troubleshooting.

Act as a liaison between HR, Compensation, and IT to gather business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Partner with HR leadership and compensation teams to analyze needs and provide data-driven recommendations.

Create and maintain custom and standard reports related to compensation, headcount, and other HR metrics.

Perform ongoing audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Assist in the rollout of new Workday functionality, enhancements, and system updates.

Support other Workday modules (Core HCM, Talent, Absence, etc.) as needed.



Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Workday Analyst or HRIS Analyst with a focus on Workday Advanced Compensation.

Strong understanding of compensation cycles, business processes, and Workday configuration tools.

Experience with reporting tools in Workday (e.g., calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; experience working with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Workday certification in Advanced Compensation is a plus.
