ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

Currently, we are searching for a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer to join our team in a 75% remote capacity with some travel to Jefferson City, MO.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, AngularJS (or similar frameworks), and REST APIs.
• Architect and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions, including orchestration, integration services, CMDB, and CRM functionality.
• Design and build responsive, user-friendly ServiceNow portals, including custom widget development, theming, and UI/UX best practices.
• Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripting to automate complex processes and improve platform efficiency.
• Build and manage integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools.
• Create custom reports, performance analytics, and interactive dashboards to meet business needs.
• Implement and manage security settings, including roles, ACLs, and data policies to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and QA engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Promote and enforce ServiceNow development best practices and platform governance standards including the use of update sets, source control, and documentation.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Required
• 3+ years of expert-level experience in ServiceNow development and scripting (JavaScript, AngularJS, or relevant frameworks)
• 3+ years of ServiceNow architecture experience, including orchestration, CRM, integrations, and CMDB
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow portals, including widget customization and UX/UI principles
• 3+ years of experience mentoring developers and collaborating within cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, UI policies/actions, ACLs, update sets, and performance optimization
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., System Administrator, Implementation Specialist)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or other ServiceNow modules
• Regular and predictable attendance
