Position: Data Scientist with Generative AI (AWS)

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) (Final in-person meeting)

Job Description:-

Must have:-

1. Build and deploy Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and other AWS AI/ML services.
2. Evaluate and integrate foundation models (Claude, Titan, Mistral, LLaMA, etc.) available in Bedrock for enterprise use cases (chatbots, summarization, RAG, etc.).
3. Fine-tune and prompt engineer large language models (LLMs) for domain-specific needs.
4. Work on GenAI pipelines: data preprocessing, prompt tuning, retrieval augmentation (RAG), and model evaluation.
5. Optimize cost and performance of GenAI workloads in the AWS ecosystem.
6. Collaborate with product and data teams to design AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and other AWS AI/ML services.
• Evaluate, integrate, and fine-tune foundation models (Claude, Titan, Mistral, LLaMA, etc.) for various enterprise use cases, including chatbots, summarization, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Perform prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning for domain-specific applications.
• Develop and manage GenAI pipelines, including data preprocessing, prompt tuning, retrieval augmentation, and model evaluation.
• Optimize cost, latency, and performance of AI workloads within AWS.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to design and implement AI-driven products and solutions.
• Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies in LLMs, GenAI frameworks, and AWS AI services.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Proven, hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML tools, including SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, and ECS/EKS.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI models and LLM ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and ML workflow orchestration.
• Expertise in RAG pipelines, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, etc.), and prompt engineering.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills must be able to interface directly with clients and executives.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience in AI or data teams.
• Must have an active LinkedIn profile with a photo and proof of local Seattle residence.
• Outstanding professional presence and personality - we are looking for someone exceptional in both skill and demeanor.

• One tech round (including 45 60-minute GenAI coding challenge) - teams
• One round with the account manager team 5-10 mins culture fit
• One round with client teams culture fit
• Final meet and greet (not technically an interview) w the buyer onsite, no exceptions
