Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $46.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sustainment Engineer

As a Sustainment Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the lifecycle of products within the After Market Enterprises (AME) sustainment program. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration, logistics, and sustainment planning, while driving efficiency and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and field support, to deliver world-class product sustainment solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication with Field Service Representatives to ensure consistent and effective support.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and data analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Apply inventory control standards to achieve accuracy in stock counts, proper shelf-life management, labeling, and packaging.

Work Environment:
  • Operate within a collaborative team setting, engaging regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with Field Service Representatives to support product sustainment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of safety shoes.
  • Work a 4x10 schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet stackers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • 1-2 years of experience in sustainment engineering, logistics, or a similar domain.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-driven environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to execute warehouse tasks involving lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to foster effective working relationships and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Technical writing experience and confidence in delivering presentations to large audiences.
  • Familiarity with the government DD250 process and electrostatic discharge procedures.
  • Expertise with electric standup pallet stackers and forklifts.

Background in the Army supply system or related military experience.
