Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Details/Scope of the project:
- Collaborate in a team environment across a diverse set of disciplines including optical material and process engineering.
- Analyze problems that arise in optical / material testing and develop mitigation strategies.
- Performing optical material prototyping and process
- Exploring Client optical material / product and process development - Conducting metrology setup and performing the optical metrology tests.
- Performing optical reliability tests
- Data analysis and presentation
- Design and implement complex optical process experiments under the direction of senior optical engineers.
- Setup and execute optical validation tests or DOE per written procedure or instruction. Perform data analysis and test results summary for presentation to the broader team. Generate formal test reports as needed.
- Vendor engagement for optical material and process development

Team Technical Stack:
- Experience in optical lens materials and process, liquid crystal and photochromic and optical coating process and test
- Experience in optical metrology, industry-standard measurement tools, optical calibration and test stations and techniques
- Experience with optical technologies including imaging, lighting
- Experience in a clean room environment
- Experience with mechanical testing measuring adhesion and hardness
- Material property characterization
- Experience with plasma related tools
