Job Details

The role and responsibilities are detailed below. The start date is 1 or 2 weeks from today.

  1. 10+ years of experience in SAP Testing
  2. Deep understanding of S/4HANA modules, e.g.,: MM, SD, FI, and Retail-specific extensions
  3. Experience in:
    1. Omnichannel retail integrations e.g., PoS, PLM systems, Salesforce, etc.
    2. API (SAP PI/PO, Dell Boomi, etc.)
    3. End-to-end retail flows: procurement, inventory, pricing, promotions, order-to-cash, returns, and loyalty programs
    4. Test Data Management and environment management
    5. Test strategy creation for functional, regression, E2E and test automation
    6. Jira, Confluence and Tricentis Tosca
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Collaborate with business for UAT test scenarios, execution, and support
  6. Support business in key testing strategic decisions such as test planning, prioritization, etc.

Roles and responsibilities:

SAP Test Manager (Onshore)

  • Participate in the discovery phase and recommend testing scope and roadmap
  • Build a testing strategy and plan
  • Recommend and set up testing processes and metrics
  • Identify test automation backlog and recommend prioritization
  • Review progress against milestones and take necessary preventive/corrective
  • Requirement analysis and traceability
  • Coordinate with Client stakeholders on test artifacts' review and approvals
  • Work with Client stakeholders for risk management and resolution of impediments if any
  • Drive test planning and execution in coordination with Client and Capgemini's onshore and offshore testing team
  • Review test execution results of the test automation team and provide recommendations for script corrections /enhancements
  • Defect management
  • UAT coordination with Client business users
  • Prepare testing reports and share with Client stakeholders
  • At the end of the engagement, prepare a knowledge transition plan and transfer the knowledge to Client
