Location: Saint Louis MO 63103 (onsite 4 days/week)

• Core BA skills, requirements gathering, flow charts.

Job Description:

• The Business Analyst Specialist provides the organization with operational support and delivery of new business demand, establishing priorities and alignment to business strategic objectives, ensuring delivery approaches and technology solutions result in business value and benefits realization.


• The role also provides a point of escalation for stakeholders to help build a strong IT-Business relationship.


• The Business Analyst Specialist delivers insight of system capability to support key decisions.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for building and maintaining a strong business-IT relationship with a key stakeholders and leaders to enable open communication and clear expectations regarding application development delivery.


• Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure prioritization and alignment to business strategic objectives.


• Act as a point of escalation on active initiatives.

Planning:

• Prepares business cases working with business partners.


• Collaborates heavily with Program Managers to initiate large projects, including resource planning, estimation, governance, approval, and kickoff.


• Contribute to the approach for requirements elicitation and methods for requirements management and communication.


• Ensures business opportunities and objectives are clearly articulated.

Desirable Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• 4-6 years Business Analyst experience preferred.


• Familiarity with testing techniques and software


• Experience working on technology and application development projects including developing technical requirements.


• Strong research skills with attention to detail


• Experience developing functional and non-functional requirements.


• Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and business case development.


• Experience working closely with team members during solution development and product launch.


• Experience developing use cases.


• Must be able to work independently and proactively.


• Excellent organizational, analytical, and independent problem-solving skills
