Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer with strong Disaster Recovery (DR) expertise to support and maintain enterprise data center operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in infrastructure management, DR planning, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support data center infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and backup systems

  • Implement, maintain, and test Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity plans

  • Perform DR drills, failover, and recovery testing; document results and improvements

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for maintenance and upgrades

  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards

  • Maintain detailed documentation and runbooks

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in Data Center Operations

  • Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery planning and execution

  • Knowledge of backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, etc.)

  • Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)

  • Understanding of SAN/NAS storage and networking concepts

  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments

  • Ability to support on-site operations in Newark, NJ
