Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the engineering industry, particularly within the aerospace sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering projects, from planning and scheduling to implementation and evaluation. This position requires a strong understanding of machine shop jobs and project management principles. The Project Engineer will also be responsible for quoting projects, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including conception, design, development, testing, and delivery.
2. Utilize Epicor software to manage project resources, timelines, and progress.
3. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all key milestones are identified and tracked.
4. Prepare accurate quotes for projects, considering all necessary materials, labor, and other resources.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure project objectives are met.
6. Monitor project progress regularly, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing effective solutions.
7. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards and company policies.
8. Communicate project status, updates, and results to stakeholders, including team members, management, and clients.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the aerospace industry.
3. Proficient in Epicor software or similar project management tools.
4. Strong knowledge of project scheduling and quoting processes.
5. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues efficiently.
8. Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
9. Proven track record of managing projects to successful completion, on time and within budget.
