Position: Sr. SAP RTR Functional Consultant with COPA & Material Ledger experience
Period: 6 Months
Location: Tampa, FL (100% REMOTE)
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, optimizing reporting processes, and providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee end-to-end RTR processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Configure, implement, and optimize SAP CO-PA to provide detailed profitability analysis by product, customer, and other relevant dimensions.
Configure, implement, and optimize SAP Material Ledger to ensure accurate costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful reports to management.
Develop and maintain documentation for RTR processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Controlling, Sales, and Supply Chain, to ensure data consistency and alignment.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within the RTR function.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Provide support and training to other finance team members on SAP CO-PA and Material Ledger functionalities.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to CO-PA, Material Ledger, and other RTR processes.
Participate in SAP system upgrades and implementations, providing expertise in CO-PA and Material Ledger.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance or RTR roles, with a strong focus on SAP systems.
* Extensive hands-on experience with SAP CO-PA configuration, implementation, and reporting.
* Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Material Ledger configuration, implementation, and month-end/year-end close processes.
* Deep understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation methods, and variance analysis.
* Solid understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with S/4HANA.
* Experience with other SAP modules, such as FI, AP, AR, and SD.
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* Project management experience.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
