Scope Details:
- New Power Scale installation done in customer environment.
- Assistance on Migration.
- Knowledge transfer and provide best practices on Product.
- Navigate in UI how to use
- Open managers
AI responsibilities results:
Responsibilities:
- Post-Installation Validation & Optimization:
- Perform comprehensive post-installation health checks, verifying operational status, cluster health, and proper configuration of Dell PowerScale systems.
- Conduct performance analysis and identify opportunities for optimization, including I/O patterns, network throughput, and storage utilization.
- Implement and validate best practices for Dell PowerScale configurations, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues related to Dell PowerScale post-installation, including performance bottlenecks, data access problems, and system anomalies.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to identify root causes of issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with Dell support, engineering, and other internal teams to drive resolution of critical issues.
- Proactive Maintenance & Upgrades:
- Plan and execute OneFS upgrades, including pre-upgrade compatibility checks, upgrade procedures (parallel or simultaneous), and post-upgrade verification.
- Implement and verify firmware updates for drives and nodes.
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and longevity.
- Client Engagement & Communication:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations on Dell PowerScale best practices.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead customer-facing meetings, providing status updates, presenting findings, and addressing concerns.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of client environments, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to clients and internal teams, enhancing their understanding and ability to manage Dell PowerScale solutions.
- Contribute to the creation of internal knowledge base articles and best practice guides.
